Symbriksha

The Social Responsibility Committee’s Annual Tree Plantation Drive, Symbriksha, was held on July 31st to celebrate the birthday of Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, the founder of Symbiosis International University. This event motivated SIBM-B students to connect with nature and take proactive steps to protect the environment.

With the theme “Nurturing Hope – Rooting for a Greener Tomorrow”, the event aimed to cultivate a tree-planting culture among students and underscore their role in shaping a sustainable future. Planting trees symbolizes planting hope and contributes to a healthier planet for future generations. The event showcased how community efforts can make a significant and positive impact on creating a better tomorrow.

At two locations around Electronic City, 40 volunteers planted 51 saplings in collaboration with local schools. This initiative was a step towards nurturing a greener future and fostering a healthier environment for everyone involved.
