“Symbriksha” – the Annual Tree Plantation Drive organized by the Social Responsibility Committee was celebrated this year on the birthday of the beloved founder of Symbiosis Society, Dr. S.B. Mujumdar. The endeavor is conducted with the motive of imbibing a culture amongst the students of SIBM-B to adopt actions that help make our environment a green environment by nurturing it with love, care, and compassion.

Symbriksha 2022 was held offline for the first time in two years after the pandemic. The theme for this year was “Paint it Green” which aimed at not just creating awareness but rather at encouraging the students to gather together and take action for the conservation of our environment.

SIBM-B in collaboration with Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA) made this event successful. The event involved 45 saplings of different varieties which were planted by the student volunteers to make our mother nature greener.

Through this initiative, we hope to send across to the masses, the message of building a greener and healthier environment.
