Blood Donation Drive 2024

The Blood Donation Drive 2024 was held on July 31st in honour of Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, founder of the Symbiosis Society. The theme of the event “Forging Lifelines”, emphasized on the crucial role of blood donation in saving lives. A Nukkad Natak was performed by Jzaa, the Dramatics Club of SIBM B, which dispelled myths about blood donation and inspired many to participate.

The drive saw enthusiastic participation from the Symbiosis community, with medical professionals ensuring a safe and efficient process. The dedication of volunteers and organizers was evident, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all donors. The event had a participation of 145 volunteers and 112 units of blood collected.

 The Blood Donation Drive 2024 highlighted the power of community action and compassion, aligning with Dr. Mujumdar’s vision of social responsibility. The success of this event is expected to inspire future initiatives, fostering a culture of giving and empathy within and beyond the institution.
